Crimson watched them dance, before getting tired of it, and went out of the hall. He needed to get some air, and get the memories out of his head. He walked out to the lake, and sat down on a bench. He could watch the kids that went outside from here, so he was doing his duty. He looked up at the moon, and thought.

Aisling stepped out into the garden, her green dress robes billowing with her long strides. All her friends had dates and, for once, the Irish transfer student was alone. She'd been finding it rather difficult to enjoy herself alone, as she wasn't used to it, so she'd decided that perhaps a stroll in the garden would give her something to do. And maybe she'd meet someone interesting and make a new friend.

Crimson throw a rock into the lake, and watched the water ripple. He heard someone walking up behind him and he turned, wondering if it was Miss. LeFaye. No it wasn't her, but it was a beautiful red head, with lovely green eyes. "Hello." Crimson said standing up, and bowing. He kissed her hand. She smelled like lilies.

Aisling stared at the Care of Magical Creatures professor for a moment before laughing a bit at his act of old fashioned formality. "Hello, yourself," she replied in her strong Irish accent, still smiling with amusement. "You're Professor Sanguis, right? My name's Aisling Duffy. Nice to meet you." Aisling had been informed that she would be Crimson's teacher's aid, but hadn't had the opportunity to meet him till now.

"Nice to meet you too. Are you my new TA? Oh, and yes, I'm Crimson Sanguis. Your also in my house, no?" Crimson asked, offering the bench to Aisling.

Aisling gladly took a seat on the bench, crossing her legs and turning to face Crimson. "Yup, I'm the TA and I'm in Hufflepuff," she said, giggling a bit. The word "Hufflepuff" had amused her from the moment to heard it, and she still had a giggle fit every time she or someone else said it.

Crimson looked at her puzzeled. He sat down next to her. "So, are you wanting for your date?" He asked, thowing another rock in the lake.

Aisling shook her head. "I don't have a date," she replied, without any trace of being disappointed or upset. She didn't care whether or not she had a boyfriend or date at the moment. As long as she had friends, she'd be fine.

"Oh, I'm sorry you don't hate a date to dance with. I would offer my hand to a dance, but..." Crimson looked down, red from embarrassment.

Aisling laughed a bit. "But you can't dance, right?" she finished for him, understanding by the way he trailed off and blushed. "Don't worry about it. You don't need a partner to dance unless it's a slow song, and slow songs just aren't my style." Truth be told, Aisling wasn't much of a dancer, either. The only difference was that she didn't care if she looked like an idiot in front of a large group of people.

"Yes, sadly. So what classes are you taking?" Crimson asked, gald she she just laughed, she looked great when she smiled. Wait, he couldn't like a student. What was he doing? He thought this over.

"Ah, I'm taking Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, Muggle Studies, Flying ((The last two I haven't actually signed up for, obviously, 'cause there's no sign up boards for them.)), and, of course, Care of Magical Creatures," she replied. "The best thing about being seventh year is that there's so much more free time once all the required classes are out of the way," she commented with yet another smile.
