Minerva walked into the large classroom and looked around. This room hadn't been used since last term, and it was a little stuffy. She waved her wand and the curtains that covered the tall windows blew open, light pouring into the room. "That's better." She stood at the front of the room, awaiting her pupils.
There was nothing exceptionally interesting about the room. Multiple rows of tables, each table seating two students. The wall were currently bare, but as term progressed the stone would become hidden behind diagrams and the like.

Griffin had been walking around campus all morning, looking for his new Transfiguration Classroom. He was happy to start classes, since now he could learn new spells and charms to overcome his enemies. Not to say Griffin had any enemies, but just in case he did. Griffin also hoped the professor would teach something new, something he hadn't learned down in the Library, or a few years back in Wizard Elem. And hopefully this teacher wasn't a grouch.
Apparently, you can ask for directions from other people, instead of walking around forever. Griffin had to do that, since he realized he couldn't find it on his own. The Transfiguration Class wasn't too far from Griffin's location, and he immediately began walking in that direction. As soon as he came upon an old, oak door, he read on the door, in a carving, TRANSFIGURATION. He opened the door, and heard an awful creaking noise. He shuddered, with it giving him goosebumps.
The classroom was neat, and tidy, a lot more cleaner than a lot of other classrooms, which haven't been cleaned over the summer. There was light pouring out of the window, which gave it a very large look. But, unlike the Astronomy Professor's Classroom, this room was a bit boring. Griffin had realized that he was going to do a lot of writing, despite the protests coming from his hand. He looked around, and saw the Headmistress. She was probably the Professor.
"Um...," He paused for a second, gathering his words,"Are you the Transfiguration Professor?"

Minerva gave Griffin a kind look. "That I am Mr Porlock. Take your seat and we'll begin." A good deal of students had entered in behind Griffin and now most of the desks were full.
When everyone had sat, and become silent she began. "Now class, this year you will be learning to transfigure items into animals. This is a step up from your last term's lessons and it is understandably more difficult. Everyone please come up and grab a teapot." She placed a box of teapots that had been stored under her desk on a table at the front of the room.

Griffin had to take a seat nearest the professor's desk. He really didn't like near the teacher's desk, since most of the teachers he has been in watch your every move. Griffin was never a bad student, he always paid attention and was contented being that way. He took out his Transfiguration book first, then stood up, following the professor's orders, grabbed a tea pot from the table. It had been pretty quick, since he was a few steps away from the table, and he immediately sat down, awaiting Professor McGonagall's next instruction.
He took out a sheet of paper, and labeled the top, "Transfiguration notes/Spells/Procedures" at the top. No harm in that. He could always use these later on certain people. Maybe even people who maybe an Allie. He sighed, and started doodling on his paper, completely focused on that and only that.
