Ryan was up int the common room laying on his bed finishing up some homework that he had forgotten about. After a few hours hit downed on him. It was the first, and he had forgot what was to happen tonight. His heart skipped a beat, how could he forget this. He jumped out of his bed and started to dig through his trunk. He franticaly look for his vial of wolfbane he had made for this month, but wasn't able to find it. After throwing ever thing out of his trunk he found it at the bottom of it. He had to get out of the castle and quick.
He ran out of his common room and started to run out of the castle. As he made his way down the stair cases he jumped over most of them to get out of there faster. He didn't want to hurt any one so getting out of the castle was the only thing on his mind. As he got to the Entrance Hall he was almost out, when of course things had to go wrong. Ryan had tripped over some random first year, and broke the vial of wolfsbane he had. "No!!" Ryan yelled. He looked at his watch to see what time it was it was almost time. He got up of the floor and ran out the Entrance Hall.
He had to make a choice at any moment he could change and he needed to be away from every one else. Should he go to the Shack for not only his safety and others, or go to the Forest. The problem was that the Shack was to far and by the time he took the secret passage way by the Willow he already would have changed. Going off of his instincts he ran to the Forbidden Forest. He looked up and could see the moon, he was seconds away from changing.
Ryan had made it to the forest, but he looked back to see if he could see the castle. It was still in site and he knew that no one would be safe if he could still see the castle. He looked back to the forest and took a deep breath and started to run deeper into the forest. Of course it had to happen again, Ryan had fallen once again, only this time of a tree root. And as he hit the ground it had begun to happen.
He let out the most painful scream that could most likely be heard form the castle. This was nothing like the last time he had forgotten to take his wolfbane. The fact that he was out of breath and that he had just fallen only made the pain worse. He clenched the ground grabbing a hand full of dirt bracing his self for the pain he was feeling. His eyes no longer human eyes, his hands now like an animal. With each second that passed a different part of him began to change. With in no time he had changed. He got to his feet and sniffed the air, before letting out a loud echoing howl.
