Professor McGonagall walked up the grassy hill that overlooked Hogsmeade. She made her way to the large grey casket that was set atop the hill, Professor Kallo's casket. Her black robes swung apathetically with her hips. When she reached the top of the hill she paused, looking down onto the casket, and whispering a soft good-bye to the late professor. She heard more mourners coming, and her posture quickly stiffened and her face was bare of any emotions.

Tonks wasn't sure of what to do, Prfofessor Kallo had been a very companion to her but her tears seemed to have left her eyes as they didn't fall down. She was really very angry to the person who poisoned the good professor.
She then stood beside the coffin and saw the face of her friend, this drops of tears of her eyes.

Quietly walking to the spot set for the funeral, Keely had a great deal on her mind. She had seen far too much death in her time and now here was another. Though in this case no one knew who could be trusted, staff and students alike. And since she was taking over as Head of House for Ravenclaw she hoped that whoever it was, was only after him. Terrible as it sounded to say she had two children to think of in this case. They'd already lost one parent, they could not lose her.

Callisto walked somberly up the hill, not far behind Keely. When they reached the top where the casket laid, Callisto whispered in Keely's ear. "Have you heard anymore on the search for his killer?" It may have been in bad taste to discuss the man's murder at the time, but Callisto wanted to know if anyone suspected any of her students...or herself.

She whispered back. "I think they might suspect a student, imagine that?" It was a tad hard to think that a student had done this. However, given some of the students families it would not surprise her in the least. She looked across to see the new school nurse, Nymphadora Tonks and wondered how things were between her and Keely's older cousin Remus. Of course she also wondered where he was. They'd spoken when he'd arrived yesterday, perhaps he was still unpacking.

Evie had heard of the Professor's death, and even though the news had made her smile, she thought it best if she attended the funeral. If she didn't it might look suspicious, not that she had any part in his death.
Evie strolled up the grassy hill to where all the adults already were waiting. The coffin was a nice one. Too nice for Kallo, she thought. She stayed towards the back of the group where it was better to watch what was going on.

Minerva cleared her throat softly before moving to the front of the casket to speak. "Professor Kallo was a great man. He fought bravely as an Auror, and was highly regarded as Hogwarts' Defense teacher." She looked at the faces around her. She could tell that most of them wanted answers to the rumours. She still didn't know who the killer was, and thought it in poor taste to discuss it here today. "He was a grand man, and will be missed greatly."
She placed a single white rose on the casket, and stepped back. If anyone else wanted to say a few words, now was the time.

Seeing that most were too choked up to speak she gave a kind smile at the small crowd. A few of the others stepped up to the grave, and said their silent goodbyes before walking away. Minerva followed suit, leaving the devastating scene behind her.
