Late last night Ministry Officials were called to a home in Little Whinging, where a disturbance had been reported by one Mrs Figg. Upon arriving on the scene, a man dressed in black robes attacked Mrs Figg, injuring her severely enough that she was taken to St. Mungo's for care. Officials were able to capture the man in black, who's name is yet to be released.
Muggle witnesses had their memories modified, and wizarding bystanders gave their eyewitness accounts of what happened. "He was throwing hexes at the old woman and running about like a loon. He kept laughing and shouting 'This is his will.'" Mr Henry Soot, a resident of Little Whinging, watched the entire ordeal through his window, following Ministry orders to not attempt to capture any suspicious characters.
Another witness, Miss Lena Wright, had this to say: "Figg must have been out of her mind to go after the man. If she'd have stayed in her house after calling the aurors she'd be fine now, wouldn't she?"
At the moment, Mrs Figg is unable to give a response. We will keep you updated as soon as we have any further news on the matter.
