Yesterday a muggle traveler reported seeing "unusual activities" at the King's Cross station. "I was gettin' me stuff of the train when I ran into this frightfully awful lookin' fella," Marcus DeMott reported to muggle news officials. "He was wearin' some sort o' dress and carryin' a stick about with 'im."
The man to which DeMott was referring has been identified as Arthur Mackabey, a wizard who once swore allegiance to You-Know-Who. According to muggle officials and wizarding eyewitnesses, Mackabey bewitched passengers' luggage carts, having the luggage attack it's owners. Ministry officials arrived on the scene and were able to contain Mackabey, who was shouting obscenities and slures at the passing muggles.
Now under surveillance at Azkaban, Mackabey awaits trial where he will be charged with disturbing the peace and crimes against non-magical folk. Rumors are swirling that this was one of many Death Eater attacks to come. You may remember nearly three years ago when Lucius Malfoy, a known Death Eater, reported Mackabey, along with twelve other members of wizarding high society, as a fellow Death Eater. Charges were dropped when Ministry officials could find no dark evidence at Mackabey's London property.
We will keep you updated as this story progresses.
