Class size would begin to drop off in this year, she knew. Students were now allowed to drop one course from their starting courses. Sadly most of them dropped this one in favor of something a little more exciting to say the very least. But Keely had hopes that those that did stay would find this year to be very exciting indeed.
So she sat and waited, if they were anything like her class had been they would wait till the last possible moment to show.

Griffin walked into to the HISTORY OF MAGIC classroom, which what the sign had read from the outside. The door had made a loud CREEK noise, which was an obvious sign of an old classroom. As soon as he had waltzed in the classroom, he was immediately attracted to the scent of flower aroma. It was relaxing, and apparently was a smell, to make this class a bit more fun.
Clutter was everywhere, papers, posters hanging on each other, and even spiders were crawling at his brown shoes. Then Griffin realized then why the aroma was created, to stop the smell of the classroom. Griffin had been in this classroom before, but it was not like this. Apparently someone forgot to clean it over the summer.
Griffin then turned to his right, and looked over at his new Professor of Magic teacher. He then wondered how many people would be in his new class, wishing there would be more than just him.

"Hello, do take a seat." She said looking up from her notes. This class she thought could give her the most trouble, just because of their age. They were all getting to that rebellious stage. One she did not wish to see in her own son either, but it was bound to come sooner or later. No matter she had a job to do troublesome students or not.
"If you'll take out your book, we'll begin when the others arrive. Do excuse the mess. I was only assigned this post three day ago. It shall look better by next class."

"Hello, do take a seat."
Griffin then noticed the teacher, who was leaning over and reading parchment, or some other type of paper.
"Yes, Ma'am."
Griffin had been looking around, studying the classroom. As soon as she had said this, he took a seat immediately, as if it was an instinct. Too bad the seat was close to the teacher's desk. Griffin then thought about the one teacher he had had that assigned seats, and the first one your butt was in was the seat you had for the rest of the year. Griffin then looked at the teacher, and noticed that she was the librarian. She must have seen him before, for his frequent visits to the library for something to read.

A book? Griffin thought What book.
He then realized the book he had gotten over the summer. Griffin then thought about the fun time he had had in Diagon Alley.
"Yes, Ma'am."
He opened his new bag, and saw his History of Magic book right on top. He then placed it on the desk, and looked at the signs around the room. He hoped that this year would be more fun than the last.

"Right, well I think we're all here then. I'm Professor Rogan, I am also the Librarian here at Hogwarts." Since this was her first year teaching and her first year back at the school she might as well get going with the least favorite part of class....getting to know you. "Well, why don't you all tell me a little about each of you. Just the basics, name, house and perhaps something you did or a place you went this summer. Why don't we start with you." She pointed to Griffin and waited.
