It was nearing dinner time and Larissa was famished. She had been out about the castle grounds most of the day, and worked up an appetite. She passed the other tables and walked down the aisle between the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff tables. She took a seat in the middle of the table and waited for the food to appear.
She greeted the people around her with a smile. Just then plates of food appeared on the table in front of her. Excited about dinner, she started to fix herself a plate. There was chicken and salad and corn. Larissa got a good amount on her plate before she picked up her silverware and tucked into her food.

Ryan walked into The Great Hall late for dinner, he wasn't that late but he wasn't there on time. He walked over to the Gryffindor table and sat at his usual seat with the usual people he ate with. As he made his way down he smiled to friends and made small conversation.

Jennifer entered the Great Hall and took an empty seat. She greeted the Gryffindors around her with a bright smile then turned her attention on the platters of food before her. She was starved. She had missed lunch due some harmless mischievousness on the fourth floor. Jen began to fill her plate, not paying any attention to those students still coming in, nor the professors at the head of the room. At this moment all she cared about was the roasted turkey on her plate.

Riley wandered in to the Great Hall after spending most of the afternoon in the library working on a project for Defense. It was by far her best and favorite subject at school. Spotting Jen she dropped into the seat next to her and began fixing her plate. "Where've you been all afternoon?" After all she hadn't seen her since classes let out and that wasn't really like either of them. Then again it wasn't like Riley had gone looking for her, no she'd gone to the library and stayed there for close to three hours. Well, she certainly was little miss excitement!
