Evie followed the guard into a small room with mirrors that covered the walls, obviously two way mirrors. There was a square table in the middle of the room and four chairs around it. Evie sat in one of the chairs and waited for her parents to be brought in. The uniformed guard stood against the wall, eyeing her.

A second guard led Bella in to the room. This guard has his wand drawn on Bella, as he had the entire way from her cell. Even thought Bella did not have her own wand and the prison had an anti apparition spell on it, the guards were always on watch for an escape attempt. And with good reason. Bellatrix and her fellow captured Death Eaters had already escaped once. She smiled a twisted smile at the guards and sat at the table across from her daughter. "Hello Evelyn." Her voice was cold and showed no sign of longing for her daughter's company.

Rodolphus was led in a moment later, a guard holdig him at wandpoint as well. He sat next to Bella and kissed her on the cheek. "Hello poppet" he said as he looked at Evelyn. His voice was kinder than his wife's, as it had always been where their daughter was concerned. He glanced quickly to the three guards perched against the walls, watching the group like hawks.

Evie smiled faintly at her mother's cold greeting. She should be used to it by now, but she wasn't. It still hurt everytime. Her father's greeting was much nicer and she gave a real smile for him. "Wotcher dad. I hope you are both okay." It was a silly thing to say, considering the two were locked up in the wizarding prison. She wanted to hug them, but controlled herself, not wanting to see that repusled look on her mother's face, or hear her sigh with relief when it was over.

"Oh yes, we are just fine and dandy locked up in this hell whole." Bella's voice was sharp and cruel. It was the stupidest statement their daughter had made in a long time, and she would be sure to let Evelyn know it. "Have you come to chit chat or do you have news?"

Rodolphus touched his wife's arm gently. "Bella, control yourself" he whispered. Then he looked at Evelyn. "What does bring you down here, poppet? You haven't visited us in some time." He was not judging her, as Bella had been. He was simply curious. He glanced quickly at the guards, who were still staring at the group. Muffliato Rodolphus hadn't needed a wand for simple spells in some time, and since there was not a soul sucking dementor nearby, he was stronger than he had previously been. "You're free to speak poppet, they can't hear you."

Evie glanced back at the guards lined along the wall behind her. She knew that her father would not jeopardize her freedom, and felt confident in revealing her information. "I've been working with Harvey CuĂ°bert on a plan to get you both out of here." At the confused look on her father's face she added "he's Antonin Dolohov's son. You worked with him, didn't you?"

Bella had not been paying attention to her daughter's words until she heard the name Antonin Dolohov, at which point her head whipped around and she leaned forward on the table. "You're working with who?" She had to be sure she had heard correctly. Antonin was a great man, and knew he would have taught his son everything at an early age. A Dolohov child would have been something to be proud of, whereas Bella had been stuck with the skinny thing sitting across from her.

It was the first time her mother had really paid attention to anything Evie had said, and while she had paid attention for all the wrong reasons, Evie was happy with it. "Harvey. I think I used to play with him when he was a boy, didn't I?" Her parents probably wouldn't remember that much, as they were always gone. But a few of Evie's nannies might have remembered it. They looked after Evie when she was little, and were the ones to take her to play in Harvey's paddling pool in the summer.

"How am I to know that?" She snapped, leaneing back into her chair. "I've had more important things to worry about as of late, without trying to remember who your friends were. Though I doubt you have any friends now, which will make my job as your mum a lot easier." She leaned forward onto the table once more. " What's this plan then? It's soon, isn't it?"

Again Rodolphus touched his wife's arm. "Bella, be nice." There was no need to whisper this to her, he was sure Evelyn knew that he would be trying to keep things civil with Bella. He smiled at his daughter, glad she was working on their escape. "Yes, poppet, is it soon? We love it here and all" he was being sarcastic "but we think we've overstayed our welcome." He reached out and clasped his daughter's hand atop the table. He was proud of her.

She sighed deeply at her father's touch, she had missed it. "I'm not quite sure on the date, to be honest. Harvey has been having some troubles with that lately. There seems to always be something interferring. But it will be soon, I promise."

Bella sneered at her pitiful excuse for a daughter. "Of course Harvey is working on it. Harvey is a good child, who respects his parents, isn't he. And what have you been doing? Sitting in front of a mirror and playing with your hair, no doubt." Her voice grew louder with rage. She was annoyed that Evelyn couldn't answer a simple question, and tell them when they would be free of this place. "If you'd stop worrying about yourself maybe you'd be able to do something useful." Bella started to laugh. "But you never were useful, were you?"

Tears started to form in her eyes at her mother's words. She knew that was what she thought of her, but whenever it was said aloud it stung. She lowered her head in shame and stared at her hands. "I'm sorry mum." She didn't know what else to say. To anyone else she could fight back, stand up for herself. But with her mother it was useless, because she was useless.

"Bella that's enough." He released the guards of their spell and stood. "We're done" he said to them. He pulled Bella up from her chair by her arm.
